About Me

Hi!
Or should I say Bonjour? Hola? Hoi? Or Ciao?

I'm Luke, and I am a student at Bangor University and soon to be a graduate of that wonderful institution. I initially made this blog as my Erasmus Blog for my third year abroad in Spain and Belgium, however since I last posted about my year abroad in May/June, this blog has been left unattended and so I have decided that I will revive my blog through commenting on new places that I have traveled to or hope to travel to in the future.

I have studied travel writing at university in both French and Spanish, and I also enjoy English travel writing. I don't hope to write as well as such writers like Julio Llamarazes or Georges Perec etc. but I hope to maybe engage more with what the ideas that they represent in their work through this blog and my travels, and who knows maybe I'll understand them more. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy reading my new entries about my travels in the future, I will also be commenting on the travel writing and literature which I read in a new blog which I will place a link to on here.
